Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Commercial Vehicle Frame Design and Development for SCV platform
2. Good experience in VAVE (Value Engg & Value Analysis) in Sheet metal domain parts
3. Should have hands on exp in ideation through benchmarking.
4. Execution of ideas through Design, Validation and Development
5. Should have knowledge of sheet metal tooling.
6. Interaction with CAE, CDMM, validation, plant team, homologation for aggregate development
7. Analyse pros and cons of different designs taken into consideration performance, cost, packaging.
8. Frame and mounting design calculations and stiffness evaluation
9. Ensure error free EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM
10. Participate in vehicle benchmarking and strip down activities for weight and cost analysis.

B.E --> Mechanical, Automobile

General Requirements

1. Good exp in VAVE and Design optimization tools
2. Good Hands-on experience in CAD Modelling using CATIA V5, GD&T / Drafting of sheet metal & Casting components.
3. Innovative thinking and Ability to generate Multiple CAD Design concept for frame ladder & mtg aggregates.
4. Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
5. Knowledge of New Product Development system like MPDS, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools & GD&T – Stack up Analysis
6. Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management
7. Knowledge of Metallurgy, manufacturing Processes, welding / bolted joints for Sheet Metal components.
