Sr. Engineer - Trims Engineering CoE

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1.Vehicle system integration for various vehicle systems to ensure manufacturability, performance and reliability of the design and align the customer requirement by creating packaging layout of various vehicle system, benchmarking of the vehicle system to system design specification, component design specification and CAE Design Specification
2.Ensure building the prototype for verification of the detail designs by getting the components through the vendors / Materials Management as per the specified design and assemble to build the prototype vehicles/systems, through CFT.
3.Ensure testing and development of prototype to achieve the system targets/functional image of the Vehicle systems by doing testing on various parameters like durability, function, fit, finish, efforts and Legislative requirement
4. Ensure Implementation / Productionisation of the Vehicle to ensure that the product is delivered as per the agreed the target date all other relevant milestones by following the elements of APQP /MPDS system as applicable.
5. Ensure cost reduction by collaborating with Integrated Material Cost Reduction Team / COE team / aggregate team in taking initiatives to reduce cost of materials used for the platform
6. Ensure quality compliance in all products of the platform to meet the requirements of customer
7. Provide Product Development Support to satellite manufacturing plant.
8. Support to PVT team for field concern resolutions.
9. Field concern resolutions along with customer care.
