Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Candidate to have
a) Desired Competency on EMS ECU for CRDe system preferable from Automotive/ Farm Equipment Background only.
b) Detailed design domain expertise on EMS systems Architecture.
c) Hands on experience on Common rail system components like EMS ECU, Injectors, Crank speed sensor, CAM sensor, fuel metering unit, Water in Fuel sensor, EGR valve, etc. and After treatments systems like DOC, DPF, SCR, Nox sensors, Temperature sensors, Supply module, Dosing module, etc.
d) Good knowledge on Embedded Electronics hardware design and testing.
e) Hands on experience on EMS system development activities like IO, TD finalization, functional logic CAN matrix, DVP finalization, Mounting Assessment, VIGO measurement, Vibration measurement, DSM verification.
f) Good knowledge on all communication protocols like CAN SAE J1939, LIN, UART, UDS, Boot loader.
g) Knowledge on Homologation standards & requirements of Automotive/ Farm Equipment.
h) Initiate, Interact with CFT for EMS system integration to realise the required E&E feature with Quality, Cost and Time.
i) Releasing all technical specification requirements to suppliers for components/systems.
j) Validating the components by making proper test cases in both component and vehicle level to give issue free product to customer.
k) Meeting the cost targets specified, without compromising quality of the product and also bringing out some cost-effective solution through VA/VE activities.
l) Knowledge on Field failure & analysis: Analysing on field reported concerns and giving solution to reduce/eliminate it. Also capturing that particular issue in upcoming products.
m) Must demonstrate a high degree of problem-solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of Quality tools, DFMEA,7 QC tools, Design Reviews & Project management.
n) Should have Basic knowledge on DFA, DFS, QFD, APQP, PPAP, GD & T.
o) Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
