Development Engineer

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

* Engine components – Product/Part Development Engineer
* Engine Proprietary parts Domain  knowledge 
* Knowlede and experience in Development of Power Train Engine components 
(EGR Module, Camcover, Oil filter module, Vaccum Pump, camcover, Turbo charger, Bearings cap/ Shell, Intake manifold, Engine Assy, Resonator, Exhaust/ Intake Throttle Valve, ECU, Water pump Assy, Oil Pump assy, Oil cooler, CNG Fuel system, EGR cooler, Solenoid Valve, Oil filter, HPP, PCJ  etc ) 
* Development of parts as per the APQP methodology.
* Budget preparation for Part and Project
* Project management , Project material and Deliverables tracking inline with MRD and execution capabilities . 
* Knowledge on Commercials required for various manufacturing processes. 
* Knowledge on proto development processes with commercial acumen . 
*Tooling cost esimates for proto s and final toolings .
* Knowledge of DVP require for systems & System Validation cycle
• Right Process finalization ( FTG ) with supplier to meet project deliverables 
* Capacity assessment and analysis for various process 
* Conduction Cycle time study and R@R demonstration to meet Capacity requirements
• Conducting assessment for New supplier and existing Suppliers for Risk evaluation, Gap Audit, System and Process sustainance
* Process Estimation for pricing of New parts and Commercial synthesis to support Vendor selection
•  Supplier upgradation through technical assistance to supplier including training, counselling, guiding etc.
• Preparation of MIS thru MS Project ,MS Excel ,MS Power point) and DWM to report Management 
• Should be able to take lead role for Internal department actvities and excution capabilities 

Experience

5 to 8 Yrs

BE / B Tech  -  Mechanical / Production/ Automobile
