Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Benchmarking of various chassis systems - Hydraulic brakes and Wheels, Anti-lock braking system, Electronic Stability control system (ESP)
2. Vehicle performance attribute target setting & evaluation,
3. Aligning product / customer requirement through benchmarking of the braking system to system design specification, component design specification and CAE Design specification.
4. Interfacing with material management team for development of proto parts and ensure building of prototype for concept verification,
5. Vehicle development work - brake pedal feel tuning exercise, Vehicle performance enhancement, Light weighting
6. Ensure quality compliance in all products of the platform to meet the requirements of customer,
7. Work towards resolution of field complaints and work closely with PVT teams
8. Ensure cost reduction by collaborating with Integrated Material Cost Reduction team in taking initiatives to reduce product cost.
