Engineer - Transaxle

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

•    Design of transmission components like gear, shafts and bearing selection
•    Sound understanding on Transmission & Axle Architecture and Layouts
•    Able to perform System level/components calculations in ROMAX and KiSSsoft software
•    Preparation of 2D part/sub assembly drawings and 3D modelling
•    Working knowledge on Tolerance analysis and stacking
•    Calculations of shifting system/components design and synchronisers
•    Knowledge on manufacturing processes, DFA and DFMEA
•    Resolving Failures concerns (Lab, Field)
•    Adherence to project timelines for drawing release                                                      
•    Sound knowledge of synchromesh/Power Shift, hydrostatic and CVT/IVT transmission.
•    Should be good enough to finalise PDS (Product development specifications) and SOR (Statement of requirements)

Experience

3-5 Yrs

Industry Preferred

Tractor/ Commertial Vehicle / Industrial Gearbox

Qualifications

BE. Mechanical/ Automobile

General Requirements

Should be sound team player, capable of coordinating with different departments , functions within organisations.

Should be able to do work independently, complete tasks with minimal supervision, and troubleshoot problems 

Should have in-depth knowledge in GD&T, DFMEA and DFA/DFS.                                      

ShouLd know tolerance stack up/ Gear/ synchro/ clutch pack calulations.                        

Good software proficiency of KiSSsoft/ Romax  system analysis tool.
