Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

•    To lead the Software System Process Quality activities across New Projects.
•    Facilitate, Audit & Assess the 'Software System Development Process' deliverables.
•    Define, Implement & Monitor software quality assurance process in accordance with industry standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949)
•    Ensure compliance with automotive-specific software development models (e.g., V-Model, Agile, AUTOSAR frameworks).
•    Define & Improve Software Gateway Process aligned to MPDS & Automate Software Dashboards to manage various projects.
•    Identify & Communicate the Software Risks to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
•    Collaborate with Functional Safety & Cyber Security engineers to ensure software compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
•    Participate in Software Evaluation in Vehicle during Validation & RGA for Software Quality improvement
•    Interface with suppliers during project audits and Quality reviews.
•    Lead ASPICE Assessments on critical Suppliers, Identify the Gaps and ensure their Closure.
•    Develop & Maintain Software Quality Dashboards, Track Metrics and present Status updates to management.
•    Identify improvement opportunities and enforce best practices to continually enhance software quality.
•    Track problems, review Concern resolution (8Ds) on all Software validation/verification tests (RGA, GNOVAC) for Gateway assessment.
•    Generating Software System Quality status of Project to Senior Management by highlighting Quality Red alerts.
•    Defining and standardizing Software System Quality Assurance across sector. (Release of Software System Development and Reliability Assurance Guideline for Auto Sector)
•    Train and coach development teams on quality processes, tools, and standards.

Skills Requirement - 

 

•    Certified Automotive SPICE Provisional/Competent Assessor.
•    Knowledge in industry standards and regulations (ASPICE, ISO 26262 & ISO 21434)
•    Knowledge in embedded software development.
•    Excellent understanding of SDLC, 'V'Model, Agile & Waterfall models.
•    Hands-on experience in Requirement & Defect Management tools such as JIRA, DOORS,       Polarion.

Industry Preferred

Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering.

Preferred Experience

  1. 10-15 years of proven experience in software development & software quality assurance.
  2. Experience with automotive OEM/Tier 1 suppliers.
