Lead Engineer - ATG

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• System level target drilldown for New Technology
  •  Sets system-level TCP targets based on the expected Project / Platform
  • Evaluates proposal / Options
    • Takes inputs from CoEs/ CDMM/ supplier / mfg. / cost feasibility
    • Takes inputs from Build & Validation COE for project risks on performance & reliability
    • Takes inputs from Program management for time plan and resource allocation
• Delivery of set targets
  •  POC to ensures achievement of all system as well as proposed vehicle-level TCP targets set , thereby ensuring,
    •  Timely finalisation of design by Supplier /  CoEs after incorporating feedback on feasibility of Mfg / Supplier / Service with minimal reopening
    • Evaluate feasible engineering solutions for timely closure of concerns raised by support / CoEs / labs
    • Evaluation of Process and Product cost target for the POC
    • Timely closure of all engineering decisions to meet POC target
    • Ensure timely completion of technical sign-off between Supplier and M&M in consultation with CoEs to ensure suppliers capabilities
    • Ensures right integration of all the systems with the help of VA&VI
    •  Suggest technical risk mitigation plans to ATG head
  • Ensures all TCP trade-offs are in conformance with proposed platform targets
    • Ensures timely completion and vehicle evaluation by Superiors for the Tech POC

• Deviations
  • Escalate to ATG head if a TCP deviation is needed, ensures high quality assessment and report
