Lead Engineer - Brakes

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Guiding Design and development of Brake system.
New product development projects involving platform strategy, packaging and layout finalisation.
Understanding and inference of CAE/brake theoretical predictions for virtual validation leading to early prediction of
system performance and durability targets.
Strategic design initiatives including quality systems leading to first time right product.
Innovation InDesign involving cost competitive approach.
Guiding the team of managers and engineers on achieving the targeted brake performance and tuning of slip control systems.
Support to all M2, M4 and M6 level projects for brake performance improvement.
IT enabling of product development process for better process adherence and robust design.
Support to quality systems, BPR, TQM, Project Management, Innovations, Capital Budgeting and IMCR activities.
Creating road map for future technology, developing and identifying the skill and infrastructure for the improvement of
domain knowledge.
