Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1) Good undertanding Li ion Battery technologyWorking
2) understanding of Battery management system software and calibration
3) Li Ion battery pack testing
4) Safety and test standards for lithium ion battery and Edrive components
5) Basics of BMS and calibration of the BMS
6) BMS core functions calibration (SOC, SOH) algorithms
7) Basics of Lithium Ion Cells (Basic Characteristics, Types of Li Ion batteries)
8) Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
9) Conceptualization, Layout, Design and Development of HEV/EV Lithium Ion Battery pack
10) Know-how and understanding on BEV layouts
11) Know-how on technical details of BMS, DVP specification to suppliers for Battery & E-Drive components/systems
12) Understand Control algorithms such as battery controls, battery SOC, SOH estimations, cell balancing, battery life optimization, safety related controls, configuration of BMS, cell characterization, energy calculation, thermal management
13) Understanding of the ISO 26262 compliance for BMS, DFMEA
14) Functional Testing, System/Component Benchmarking
15) Coordination with other design departments/ suppliers & related agencies for design and development Activities
16) Calibration – having exposure to work on Calibration tools like INCA, Vector tools.
17) Basic understanding of how to interpret software documentation and software flow diagrams for BMS.
18) Basic Vehicle system knowledge and E&E aggregates in the vehicle - EV associated systems like DC-DC converter, On board charger. E motor, HV battery
19) Validation understanding of Battery & E-Drive components by making proper test cases in both component, system and vehicle level so as to give issue free product to customer

20)Battery Management Software (BMS) function development, calibration
21)Developing and validation software functions, calibration and dataset release for BEV programs
