Lead Engineer - Electrical & Electronics

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Deep knowledge of Automotive Components/ECUs and Systems functionality.
• Knowledge of international EMC and Electrical testing standards (ISO 16750-1, 16750-2, 11451, 11452, 7637, 10605, CISPR 12, CISPR 25, ECE R 10.5, AIS 004 etc.) and other global OEM standards.
• Knowledge of International Environmental and Mechanical test standards ( IEC 60068, ISO 20653, 16750 – 3, 4, & 5) for automotive components.
• Knowledge of product development process and vehicle E & E architecture is mandatory.
• To prepare Electrical and EMC Design Verification Plan for components (ECUs, motors, actuators etc.) & Vehicle.
• Experience in EMC test setups, load box preparation and operation of test equipment (Pulse generator, ESD simulator, voltage drop simulator, EMI Receiver, CRO etc.)
• Experience of conducting Component & Vehicle EMC testing as per Automotive Standards.
• Experience of RF & Electrical noise Suppression technique in component & vehicle level to analyse and resolve EMC related concerns.
• Reviewing/maintaining EMC and Electrical test reports, knowledge of DFMEA process, maintaining/upgrading internal test standards.
• Knowledge of PCB design to improve EMC performance of ECUs 
• Experience of EMC simulation tools (FEKO, CST, ANSYS etc.) to optimize design for EMC compliance. 

Experience

8 to 10 Years

Qualifications

BE/BTech/ME/MTech-Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Electronics, Power Electronics or any equivalent

General Requirements

Exposure to Component & vehicle level EMC standard & testing knowledge.
Experience in arranging EMC test setup for E&E components & Vehicle.
Experience in Electric Vehicle systems testing
Good experience on EMC simulation tools (FEKO, CST, ANSYS etc.) to optimize design for EMC compliance. 

Must have depth knowledge on automotive EMC & Environmental standards.
Must have good domain knowledge on basic BEV architecture, EV Powertrain (EPT) systems and components such as VCU, BMS and MCU
Must have hands on experience on ETAS INCA, VECTOR CANoe, CANalyzer, ECU Test tool and AVL Concerto, and software flashing tools.
Must have knowledge of Testing concepts, Test processes, Test methodology, Test strategy, Test Tools and techniques.
Must have in-depth knowledge on EMC Simulation tool for the automotive applications
