Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Lead Engineer in Methods Development at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in advancing engineering processes through data-driven insights and predictive modelling. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Converting engineering simulation and test data into actionable insights and predictive models.
  • Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and geometrical deep learning techniques.
  • Improving model accuracy through validation data, hyperparameter tuning, and domain understanding.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and modules such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, torch_geometric, Open3D, NumPy, sklearn, and pandas.
  • Preparing and cleaning data for building machine learning pipelines.
  • Translating machine learning/deep learning methods into engineering applications to enhance end-to-end processes.
  • Preparing technical and functional documentation for applications.

Experience

You should bring a wealth of practical experience to this position, specifically:

  • 4 to 6 years of proven experience in data-based predictive model building, machine learning, or deep learning.
  • Knowledge of CAE deck, pre and post filetype for general CAE software.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, showcasing your ability to drive projects from inception to conclusion while maintaining high quality standards and performance evaluation.

Industry Preferred

Your expertise is especially valued in the automotive or engineering services industry, where your contributions can significantly impact vehicle design and performance. Working in a dynamic environment that encompasses:

Qualifications

We seek a candidate with the following educational qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Engineering, preferably from an esteemed institution like IITs (with a minimum GATE score of 90%) or other reputed engineering colleges.
