Lead Engineer - Powertrain Development Center

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. To attend customer field issues and making vehicle running within 2 working days .
2. Root cause analysis - giving Immidiate ICA and parallel work on PCA with respective stake holders.
3. Could data analysis
4.Based on cloud data , give preventive solution to custmer to avoid vehicle breakdown.
5. Should be able to provide Engineering solutions in field.
6. Identify and understanding of new failure modes
7. Must have rich experiance in leading field team & working closely with various stake holders like service, Plant engine Team , dealership,supplier etc.
8.Good knowledge on data analysis in Excel,power BI
9. Prepration of MIS for reviews, daily reports,Escalation key issues on time, follow up for closure
10. Co orelate field issues to validation and help in DVP preperation

8-9 years

Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job
1. Software requirements: CANoe,Power Bi
2. Knowledge on Electric vehicle architecture, High Voltage/Low Voltage systems, CAN communication.
3. Knowledge on EV concern Diagnosis - field.
4. Knowledge in Diagnostic tool, flashing tools, software developement
5. Understand product life cycles of Evs
6. Good domain expertise on VCU, Battery, MCU and IPDU
7. Good knowledge on vehicle systems of EVs - HV, LV wiring harnesses,replays and other systems.
8.Data knowledge to justify technical decisions and ability to clearly explain technical issues and Strong Willingness to take ownership and drive results
9. Analytical and troubleshooting skills
