Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
| M&M is looking for an aspirational engineer who is self motivated and with the drive to bring positive change among the life of customers. This role is within the COE HVAC team and will work closely with CDMM, Quality, Service, Manufacturing, Validation, and suppliers to design and deliver HVAC, battery cooling systems as per target performance, within target cost & time. a) Responsible for conceptualizing and designing cutting edge HVAC system for ICE vehicles & xEVs with optimum efficiency, performance, reliability and safety regulations. b) Design and packaging of HVAC, Battery cooling system components to meet system and vehicle requirements including efficiency, cost, weight, manufacturability and serviceability c) Development of control logics w.r.t climate control module, e-compressor, e-heater, chiller for optimal performance and efficiency c) Manage suppliers and internal CFT to ensure timely program deliverables within budget d) Derive and signoff component level and system level specifications based on vehicle level requirements. e) Create / Review of technical documents including DFMEA, DVP, Drawing, SOR, CIR, Lessons learnt, 1D Simulation reports, etc. f) Support for the project throughout the development including conceptualization, design release, various builds, validation, SOP and field support g) Perform / Review system calculations & simulations h) Diagnose various build, technical issues in vehicle and to resolve the concern i) Manage conflicts with Interface team j) Suggestions for Quality improvement, IMCR & Localization k) Advanced technlogy development and implementation |
