Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Develop and maintain Functional Safety work products in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Create Item Definition, HARA, FSC, TSC, Safety Plans, DIA, and Safety Case documentation.
- Perform and support FTA, FMEA, DFMEA, and DFA activities.
- Participate in safety verification and validation activities on Vehicle, HiL, and other environments.
- Support functional safety audits, assessments, reviews, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams, and suppliers.
- Promote functional safety awareness and contribute to a strong safety culture.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Functional Safety compliance activities.
- Hands-on experience creating Item Definition, HARA, FSC, TSC, and Safety Case work products.
- Experience creating and executing Development Interface Agreements (DIA) and Safety Plans.
- Experience performing FTA, FMEA, DFMEA, and DFA analyses.
- Hands-on validation experience on Vehicle, HiL, and other environments.
- Good system level knowledge on any vehicle level functions like Powertrain, Chassis, Body etc
- Experience interfacing and coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet product milestones.
- Proficiency in Medini Analyze, Jira, Visio, Confluence, and related engineering tools.
- Experience leading or supporting periodic safety audits and assessments.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members on functional safety practices and safety culture.
- Strong knowledge of all parts of ISO 26262 and their practical application.
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
B.E / M.E in EEE, ECE, CSE , IT
General Requirements
- Automotive embedded systems experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of automotive development lifecycle and ASPICE is an advantage.
