Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Thorough knowledge of county regulations for Agricultural tractor/ Motor vehicles.
- Understands countrywide strict emissions and smog requirements.
- Extensive understanding of all mechanical systems
- Meets continuing education requirements to keep off with advancements in technology for inspection purposes.
- Extensive tractor / automotive background and knowledge.
- Experience with both private and commercial vehicle inspections
- Support the development of OHS policies and programs
- Advice and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management

General Requirements
- Worked at an inspection station inspecting all tractors / vehicles preparing for resp. market.
- Kept abreast of all regulatory and code changes in respective country.
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Conducted inspections of tractors /vehicles according to regulatory schemes
- Checked all regulated systems including brakes lights emissions tires glass and body.
- Tested emissions control systems inspected tires for tire-tread depth inspected lights electrical systems and all safety-related features in order to pass inspected tractors
- Issued reports of findings and printed them.
- Consulted with customers regarding repairs and code compliance.
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Engineering or relevant field is preferred, Certificate in occupational health and safety
