Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Adequate knowledge & Experience about New Product Development Systems & Process (Vehicle).
2. Lead and Coordinate the Quality Planning activates in NPD Projects.
3. Responsible for assessing and reporting the status of all the deliverables in each gateways.
4. Good knowledge in Quality Tools such 7QC-tools, FMEA's, DVP, DFA/ DFM, APQP, PPAP and Risk analysis.
4. Experience in using AI tools for analysis, drive better resutls and creation of dashboards.
5. Improve the Product Quality & customer satisfaction through PDCA of pervious Programs Lessons Learnt.
6. Monitoring the Virtual Validation deliverables such as CFD, CAE simulations etc. during concept phase.
7. Effective assessment of vehicle and system level validation such as Functional, Performance and Durability Tests.
8. Working closely with Product Planning & Program Management to capture customer latent needs and ensuring Quality delivered as per timelines.
9. Conceptualize and upgrade Quality systems in New Product Development Process while continuously benchmarking best practices in the industries:-
. To plan and define roadmap for implementation of Quality systems for the various projects.
. To imbibe quality culture in the CFT/CDT through regular interactions and quality workshops.
Key Deliverables:
1. Formulation of Quality and Reliability Targets for New Products, timely Product evaluations to assess gaps and driving corrective actions.
2. Generating Quality status to Senior Management by highlighting Quality Red alerts and proposing contingency plans.
3. Assessment on Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier and Service readiness based on MPDS gateway requirements.
4. Driving Teams towards implementation of various Product and Process improvements identified during build & Validation phases.
5. Preparing the Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA) reports based product validation concerns and establish the MTBF values against the targets.
6. Prepare and implement the Quality Evaluation plan in various builds.
7. Preparation of Product and Process Risk assessments and monitoring for effective closure.
Education Qualification
BE (Mech/ E&E/ Auto/ Production)
General Experience
07 – 09 Years - B.E/ B Tech (Mechanical/Production/Automobile) Engg.

Auditing skills – Process, Product and System. 6. Ability to identify the potential risks (Quality & Performance) and enable team to mitigate. 7. In depth Knowledge of 7QC tools, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA & SPC. 8. Excellent computer skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. 9. Knowledge in Reliability Tools and Analysis on vehicle & system level. |
