Manager- STA-E&E(AD CDMM)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process engineering activities for bonding, lamination, assembly, and polarizer for Automotive display modules.
  • Drive yield improvement and cost optimization through data-driven projects and DOE/SPC methodologies.
  • Perform defect analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions using 8D and DMAIC approaches.
  • Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure seamless transition from R&D to mass production.
  • Monitor KPIs and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of learning and performance excellence.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Ensure compliance during customer audits and maintain zero major findings.

Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

 

  • B.Tech / B.E Mechanical/Electronics Engineering
  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred

General Requirements

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Process Development & Optimization: COG/FOG/COF/PCB bonding, OCA/Optical bonding, backlight assembly.
  • Quality & Reliability: Failure analysis, root cause analysis, reliability testing (temperature/humidity, drop/bending).
  • Lean Manufacturing: Six Sigma, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S implementation.
  • Data Analysis: MES systems, data-driven decision-making for yield improvement.
  • Cleanroom & ESD Environment: Expertise in handling sensitive processes.
  • Documentation: Quality control plans, FMEA, SOPs, process cards.
