Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

· Act as the technical interface for lighting suppliers

· Support development activities of Exterior lighting and Interior lighting

· Drive APQP activities from RFQ to SOP

· Ensure PPAP approval and supplier manufacturing readiness

· Review tooling, process capability, and industrialization progress

· Support quality issue resolution using 8D and root cause analysis

· Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Program teams

· Manage engineering changes and supplier technical risks

· Define and execute Reliability and DVP&R plans; finalize warranty terms with suppliers.

· Evaluate suppliers and carry out technical discussions to confirm feasibility.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

· Experience with automotive lighting components

· Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans

· Knowledge of injection moulding and plastic parts

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

· Good supplier coordination and communication skills

Experience

5 - 9 yrs.
