Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
To enhance the Customer Experience by ensuring Perceived Quality Attributes target achievement in Passenger Vehicle programs.
Research of PQ attributes trends across industries and adaptation of the relevant improvements in the new vehicles.
Ideation during Styling phase and Engineering phase to select the right concepts and sections for component development.
CAS and CAD assessment for early identification of PQ scope of improvements.
Conduct systematic benchmarking of switches, buttons, rotary knobs and other tactile controls in vehicle.
Evaluate operational feel of the controls in terms of attributes like click forces, FS curves, Travels, Detent feedbacks etc.
Ensure Part level PQ assessment during pre-texture post texture and tool buy off trials.
Translate subjective measurement into objective requirements and work closely with Engineering and Tier 1s to achieve the PQ targets.
Ensure component level validation for controls and mechanisms parts like switches, knobs, handles, ac vents etc. Drive suppliers to achieve PQ targets at the best.
Ensure consistency in switch feel and various controls within the platforms and in production batches.
Create and maintain the program level PQ summary.
Publishing the PQ reports on periodic manner.
Anticipating the risk to achieve the upcoming project milestones from PQ perspective and report to leadership at appropriate timelines.
