Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Head of MRV AFS Finance & Accounts at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for a wide range of key deliverables including accounts closing, financial budget finalization, compliance management, legal drafting, MIS preparation, and IT dashboard development. Your role will involve coordination with various departments, monitoring of expenses, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Experience

The ideal candidate for this position should have 8 to 12 years of experience in the finance and accounting field, with a strong background in handling diverse accounting activities. Experience in managing procurement processes, legal agreements, income tax matters, and MIS reporting will be highly valued.

Industry Preferred

We prefer candidates with experience in the automotive, OEM, and heavy machinery industries, particularly in internal audit functions. However, we are also open to professionals with similar industry backgrounds who can bring valuable insights and expertise to our finance and accounts division at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

Qualifications

The qualifications we are looking for include a CA/ICWAI qualification, along with an MBA or technical degree. Proficiency in SAP software will be considered an added advantage for this role, enabling the candidate to effectively manage financial data and streamline accounting processes with technological solutions.

General Requirements

General requirements for this position include a deep understanding of company accounting principles, accounting standards, and SAP functions. The candidate should possess a clear grasp of GST regulations, income tax laws, and prior experience in controller activities. Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders and drive financial initiatives.
