Manufacturing strategy

• Provide Product/ Project inputs for preparing Business case & Mfg. strategy
  – Accountable for final budget with assumptions
• Closely work with PPH, PFH & CPH to provide timely inputs to CME for Make
  vs Buy decision:
  – Accountable for timely closure of make vs buy decision
• Coordinate mfg. planning & CME COE leads in ensuring mfg. flexibility and
  cost effectiveness
• Delivery of manufacturing targets

Development:

• Coordinate with CME to provide mfg. feasibility inputs and requirements
  (musts & wants) to PEH during system-level target drill down
• Design for manufacturing excellence(DFM) and release RFQs / SoR/drawings
  should be finalized with incorporation of Process, Investment and cost
  feasibility in coordination with PEH
  – Ensures timely feasibility inputs for DFM on Engg. drawings and SORs
  – Drive BEC (Base Engineering Contents) reduction activities for the pdt

Delivery:

• Single point interface for manuf. of vehicle/aggregates/PTD for the vehicle
• Plan and lead the on site build activities at different gate ways
• Timely and effective execution of FTG (incl. plant infra) for the project
• Accountable to integrate & deliver Manufacturing TCP targets by aligning
  with Plant mfg.
  – Ensures high quality execution to achieve agreed Mfg. targets
  – Influences proto-build to ensure production plant sequence is followed
  – Coordinate for timely installation and commissioning of the facilities
  aligning to project milestones
  – Measurement of Quality indicators at all the builds
  – Delivery of Process and Product cost targets related to mfg.
  – Ensure Sign-off and ROCM - incase of project scope and engg. change
  – Timely handover of the project to launch team with desired quality
