Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Technical

SoR / Drawings: Ensure timely finalization with supplier and cost feasibility inputs, in coordination with PEH.

Provide comprehensive feedback from SBC (material cost) assessments.

Secure timely and complete supplier feedback.

Technical Sign-Off: Complete sign-offs promptly with PEH, ensuring only suppliers capable of meeting TCP targets are approved.
Techno-Commercial
-
SBC & Quote Synthesis: Deliver on TCP targets for part development.

Complete SBC in line with business case assumptions.

Ensure quality and timely synthesis of quotes, including supplier feedback, capex/investments, part pricing, and process details.

Validate supplier capacity to meet projected volumes on time and at scale.

Decide cost trade-offs across commodities, minimizing TCP deviations at vehicle level.

Align assumptions across SBC, SoR, and quote synthesis so that SBC and supplier quotes remain closely matched.

Confirm suppliers in the panel are capable of meeting TCP targets for each part.

Commercial
-
Supplier Panel & VoB: Coordinate with SSU to ensure timely closure with PSL support.

Onboard only vendors who have cleared technical sign-off.

Declare VoB to protect TCP only if SSU fails to nominate within stipulated timelines.

Part Development
-
Maintain part-wise BOM and manage associated capex for part development.
-
Deliver material cost targets within budgeted investments for bought-out parts.
-
Ensure delivery of right-quality parts as per Project MRD 2.

Complete vendor PPAP on time and hand over to SQE & SCM.
Other Business Decisions
-
Project Budget: Provide part development inputs to PFH for business case finalization.
-
System-Level Target Drilldown: Share feedback on techno-commercial feasibility with PEH.

Make vs Buy Decisions: Finalize decisions in line with platform TCP targets, in coordination with PMH, PFH, and CPH.
