Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Responsible to lead development of infotainment and driver information system. The right candidate will be proactive, with great communication skills, demonstrate attention to detail, have a passion for technology, and an excitement to produce great products. Responsible for owning and leading infotainment projects associated with Mahindra product development activities. Personal development skills in requirements definition, system design, implementation, and testing/debug are essential. Additionally, the ability to plan, track, and lead the development of technology and mentor/motivate other engineers plays a critical role.
Participation in planning, requirements analysis, and coordination with other team members, from inside and outside the project group, is critical in this position. The responsibility for the overall success of the project (meeting expected completion with needed quality) will be shared by the Project Lead with any other lead engineers working on the project or on associated projects. Must be comfortable in all phases of the project/product development life cycle.
Should have Exp in Vehicle Infotainment design development area
Fundamental knowledge of system engg development
Familiarity understanding of networks commonly used in automotive (MOST, CAN, LIN, Bluetooth, USB etc)
Research, Plan, Propose verify an IVI system architecture for future models taking a balanced lifecycle approach
Identify key technologies necessary to execute requirements ensure platform roadmaps utilize these technologies
Leadership role in team environment to establish system level requirements to meet/exceed current future customer expectations
Communicate customer needs proposed system architecture to meet those needs throughout various levels of organization verbally work with Tier 1 , Purchasing vehicle teams as needed to bring system to development stage
Develop interface requirements to meet the functional requirements system-level use cases for IVI networked systems

Qualifications
Position requires a degree in B.E/B.Tech (M.E/M.Tech preferred) in the fields of EE/ECE/ MSc degree (Electronics) or equivalent experience. Additionally, a minimum of six years experience in hard-core Infotainment domain and product development is required.
