Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Perform data discovery with key stakeholders for the data artefacts that need to be included in the data migration scope corresponding to the individual
modules planned for implementation along with detailed understanding of the data model
• Prepare data glossary to identify source and target data systems along with the format and structure of the source data available
• Prepare list of transformation required for data to meet the expectations of the target systems. Prepare the business rules (Cleansing & enrichment)
• Work with the program implementation team to develop data migration plan in consensus with the implementation schedule of the respective modules
• Coordinate, build, monitor, and maintain a repeatable data load and migration process for various business needs
• Monitor the build, test, execute actions on respective scripts authored for handling data migration
• Plan, implement and monitor data migration programs and activities to meet the go-live timelines
• Identify key risks during extraction/transformation/loading of the data along with recommended plan to mitigate the impact to the program timelines
• Resolve data migration issues, and provide technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
• Develop testing procedures with the testing team to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications and source data

Experience

• 15+ years experience in technology management and implementation of large scale platform
solutions
• 10+ years on program management experience on data migration and cutover activities.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

- Bachelors in Computer Science/Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive/Mechatronics engineering
• Masters degree in computer science or advanced certifications on data strategy, architecture

Extensive experience on data management and
architecture using accelerators
• Certified data architect with experience in building
integrations and connecting to source data systems
• Experience with management of data systems
within large platform based solutions.
