Senior Engineer - Calibration

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsible for taking vehicle level measurements and analysis of drivability topics i.e Idle stability, Cold Start, Restart and Hot Start, Vehicle acceleration performance.
Need to participate in vehicle test trips and resolve the concerns raised by validation team;
Need to participate during homologation trials and prepare relevant documents.
Need to participate take On Board Diagnostics related measurements and perform analysis to avoid wrong detection of plausibility errors.
Need to work with CFT team to understand the calibration maturity of other linked calibration areas
Need to coordinate multiple vehicle / project activities simultaneously.
Need to support for testing activities at engine manufacturing plant and vehicle manufacturing plant prior to product launch.
Need to have strong leadership skills with the ability to independently manage activities and ensure timely outcomes.
Exceptional problem‑solving abilities and a structured approach to issue management.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and foster a positive team culture.

Experience

2 or more years

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.

Required Skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficient with data acquisition & development tools (e.g. INCA/MATLAB/Uniplot/VISU/ Python / RM tools/ CANalyzer/CANOE etc.)
In depth knowledge on Engine management system functions, Gasoline engine combustion, emissions and emission regulations.
Emission and OBD system knowledge will be added benefit
Understanding of various vehicle level features and up to date trends in automobile industry.
