Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Should have a clear understanding of Automotive Transmission and its sub system
Should have a on hand experience of  software like UG NX, Romax, Kissoft etc.
Good understanding on Team center procedure.
Adequate knowledge on housing design and detailing (2D,3D) and Transmission layout.
Adequate knowledge on gears & shaft design ,bearing selection
Good understanding on gear manufacturing processes
Good knowledge in Shift system and synchronizer design
Basic knowledge in CAE analysis
Good  Knowledge in DFMEA.
Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T
Ability to interact with development team and supplier for component development
Versatile to work with support system teams and address the integration related concern
Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team
Time Management for self & CFT  for on time delivery of the project
