Senior Engineer - Design COE EV

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1) Ensure design quality for powertrain systems including engine, battery pack, and motor.
2) Apply principles of kinematics, fluid dynamics, and electrical circuits to validate designs and subsystems.
3) Perform DFMEA, DFC, DFM, and DFS for powertrain components.
4) Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, detailing, and apply GD&T standards.
5) Utilize 3D CAD tools (CATIA, UG NX, 3DX) for design validation and reviews.
6) Analyse CAE and CFD results and predict input vs output performance for thermal and electrical systems.
7) Collaborate with development teams and suppliers for component development and integration.
8) Address vehicle-level integration concerns and resolve manufacturing/build issues with suppliers and plant teams.
9) Prepare and maintain design standards and guidelines for powertrain systems.
10) Work with support system teams to address integration-related concerns effectively.
Experience
5 to 7 years
Industry Preferred
Automobile - OEM - Development Group, supplier
Qualifications
BE, ME ( Mechanical, Automobile and mechatronics)
