Senior Engineer - PTD PCL

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Prepare Material cost for business case, preparation by providing cost benchmarks and options
  • Share part/ system wise material cost with platform team
  • Evaluating PTD at System/Part level at different stage of Development of Product from Business case to SOP
  • Keep track on timely feasibility comments on SOR basis business case targets
  • Keep track on timely SBC (Part and Tooling) to SSU
  • Timely communication of ROCM SBC to SSU
  • Support Internal systems to facilitate necessary cost approvals due to all change events wrt Cost
  • Custodian of material cost montoring and control
  • Closely work with CFT to get desired cost inputs
  • Montoring and tracking of Project business case ( material cost) targets
  • Provide visibility on overall material cost and raise necessary risk alarms along with mitigation measures
  • Working on Microsoft office. (MS Excel, word, Power point presentation etc)

Experience

Minimum 6+ Years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech

General Requirements

  • Knowledge of overall Powertrain and vehicle level systems, especially on ICE and EV
  • Knowledge of different Manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Component Cost Benchmarking, VAVE, Target Costing / Business perspective.
  • Working knowledge & experience of monitoring projects
  • Excellent Networking, communication, Presentation & analytical skills
  • Commercial Accumen
