Senior Engineer - Tractor Engines

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Engine emission hardware selection (FIE System , EATS System) and  Combustion Development
• Engine calibration to meet performance & emission targets considering TREM-4, Stage-5 & Tier-4 Emission Norms. 
• Vehicle calibration to meet Drivability & Noise Targets 
• Conduct/formulate the required DoE(Design of experiments)
• DPF calibration - Passive, Active Regeneration 
• DPF Soot Modelling,Delta pressure Modelling 
• Knowledge on DSM,NCD,PCD for Stage-5, Tier-4 & TREM-4 Emission Norms.
• Experience of dedicated data evaluation tools such as ETAs INCA, AVL Concerto, CAMEO

Experience

2-6 years

Industry Preferred

Automotive, FIE supplier or Engine development consultancies

Qualifications

BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech

General Requirements

Functional Competencies:

Engine level CRS Calibration to meet the perfromance & emission target
Vehicle level CRS calibration
Hands on experience in INCA, Concerto, CAMEO
Base engine combustion development
Performance & emission development skill in diesel engines
Knowledge in emission norms
Knowledge in aftertreatment systems calibration 

General Requirements:

CRS calibration with Bosch/Delphi softwares 
EMS/functionality skills
Problem trouble shooting and root cause investigation
Understanding of tractor operations and applications
