Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Over all experience around (2 - 5 years) in Automotive electrical system
design & development, System design & Integration,
wiring harness design and development of LV, HV cables & Vehicle harness,
prototype & testing on vehicles, Electrical validation, good knowledge in harness
manufacturing and design.
2.Validate the Electrical & Electronics components which are operates in the Electrical
environmental such as signal interference, noise disturbances, power capability in a
vehicle level, signal measurement, ensure the specification of ECU I/O & functionality
3. Parasitic current (Dark Current) in vehicle off condition to verify the Energy leakage from
the battery source
4. Grounding points validation to verify the grounding strength of each system group to
minimize electrical noises
5. Signal integrity validation to verify the Signal interference, Noise disturbances, Transient
voltages
6. Voltage Drop test to verify the power losses due to the conductive mediums such as
connectors, terminals, wires, relays in the systems
7. Wiring harness validation to verify the wire size, fuse selection, relay size , layout,
coverings & fixings in vehicle level.
8. Field issues analysis, provide the temporary & permanent countermeasure to the issues
9. Electrical Components & Circuits has to been designed, according to the specifications of
automotive components & validated in actual vehicles.
10.Bench marking activities to analysis the difference in design
and cost of the vehicles in same platform.
11. Root cause analysis and FTA preparation has to be done for quality concerns & propose a temporary
counter measure for concerns & validated multiple proposal for permanent counter measures.
12. Collect the reported bugs & analysis the data logs to find issues.
13. Hands on experience in automotive wiring harness design and development, Electrical
Schematic design & simulation has to be done on tools
14. Skilled in manufacturing process of electrical wiring harness, prototype harness making, Harness
testing & validation.
15. Ability to quickly grasp new technology and deploy in full range of capabilities.
