Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsibilities:

Analyse and interpret vehicle test data from ICE and EV platforms.
Develop and maintain cloud-based analytics methodologies using MATLAB, Python and Databricks.
Build interactive dashboards and web applications for data visualization and reporting with Power BI, Tableau
Collaborate with calibration and testing teams to integrate analytics into vehicle development workflows.
Support predictive modelling and machine learning initiatives for performance and reliability analysis.

Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB.
Experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar cloud analytics platforms.
Knowledge of vehicle testing procedures, calibration tools, and CAN protocols.
Understanding of ICE and EV architectures and performance metrics.
Ability to work with large datasets and perform statistical analysis.

General Requirements

Competencies:

3 to 5 years of experience in field of engine/Vehicle testing or system simulation. 1-2 years of basic data analytics work experience.
Strong analytical abilities to process drivability test data, propose ratings, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, MATLAB, Power BI, and Python is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of automotive powertrain systems fundamentals.
Practical experience/exposure to Engine/Battery testing.
Proficient in data analysis techniques and usage of analytical tools.
Skills:

VCU calibration, Lab car, Emission analysis, Vehicle & engine performance, drivability, EV performance and efficiency mapping, Fleet Durability, vehicle modelling
