Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Responsibilities:
1. Define System Roadmap, Variant strategy, Scalability, and overall component applicability of upcoming vehicle programs.
2. Analyze PDB and respond to project team (feasibility, timelines)
3. Gathering and critically evaluating information from field and quality team, resolving conflicts, breaking down high-level information into detailed insights.
4. Feature understanding, system definition, budget creation, SOR, and TSO
5. Interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements using strong system cum product management skills.
6. Challenging and guiding sub-system/functions team on the successful execution of their plans.
7.Manage timelines, supplier coordination, budget, and MPDS deliverables
Coordinate supplier timelines, software releases, defect closure, jury handling, MPDS
8. Acting as a liaison between technology teams, support teams, and business units.
9. Serving as a conduit between internal-external customers and the software development team to ensure the flow of requirements.
10. Proactively communicating and collaborating with both external and internal stake holders to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Key Deliverables:
1. Integration of CDC SW as a complete system with DID (Driver Informtion Display), CID (Center Information Display), PID (Passenger Information Display) and Telemetry.
2. Ensure timely delivery of CDC SW and delivering SW products throughout the project's lifecycle.
3. Collaborating with subsystem/functions team and subject matter experts to analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
4. Ensure system level validation and verification.
5. Triaging, prioritization, burndown planning, and reporting of SW delivery without defects.
6. Conduct FTR and Product Proveout.
7. Identify new technologies and features and bring those to upcoming programs.
Experience
4 to 5 years of Experience in automotive industry in the area of infotainment, connectivity, telematics or instrument cluster.
Exposure to Cockpit domain controller (CDC) and other technologies of cockpit.
Features of infotainment, cluster and telematics.
Know-how on communication technologies (LTE, DSRC, 5G) or similar protocols.
Familiarity with vehicle network architectures (CAN, CAN FD Ethernet).
Good knowledge on UDS and dignostics protocols.
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Additional training or certifications in automotive infotainment, system requirement, testing and validation is a plus
