Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1) To design, develop and implement  wiring harness in a particular platform vehicle meeting all regulatory standards/requirements with in project time line.
2)To have hands on experience on any software mentioned in below(functional competencies) particularly on Capital Tools(Logic, Harness XC, Library, Symbol & Simulation) and detailed knowledge of the software CHS to make build to print drawings. 
3)To have detailed child part knowledge on all WH components like grommets, connectors, clips, wires, Insulations etc.,
4)Initiate, design  and develop design concepts to meet cost objectives, schedule, design parameters for system and component level for WH
5)Evaluate existing and new designs for compliance to internal and external standards and review designs for various desing specifications 
 
8)Should Create electrical symbols in symbol Library and update the component library for connectors, Inline connectors, Terminal, Relay and Fuse base.
9)Releasing all technical specification to suppliers for components/systems
10)Validating the components by making proper test cases in both component and vehicle level so as to give issue free product to customer
12)Should have knowledge on working of WH BOM details of components.
13)Must demonstrate a high degree of Ownership of the Projects and problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of  tools used in MPDS, DFMEA , problem solving tools and techniques and project management tools , 
14)Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc. 
15)To Create Internal Documentation for Capital tool Usages w.r.t M&M procedure & also contribute for the Documentation of Power Distribution Validation Strategy,  Grounding Strategy etc for all the Users to follow for entire M&M Ecosystem. 
16)To Conduct  Internal Meetings with Proper Agenda  & prepare Presentation for Top Management Reviews w.r.t Electrical Distribution System Progress. 

Experience

3 to 5  years

Industry Preferred

Any other OEM,  wiring harness Manufacturers, Design consultant

Qualifications

BE/B Tech Electrical Engineering
BE/B Tech Electrical and Electronics  Engineeing
BE/B Tech Automobile / Mechnaincal engineering
Diploma with Relevant Industry experience.

General Requirements

Interfacing with all inter dept teams  from start to end of project to ensure First Time Right 
Awareness of vehicle technical symposiums, conference etc.,
Good knowledge on systems like design review’s/ DFMEA’s             
Specialized, Technical  Good knowledge on vehicle electrical system and interfacing parts.             
Manufacturing of Wiring harness aggregates
Maintaining quality level tragets as per agreement and also open to travel on need basis

Good working Knowledge in Electrical Schematic Tools :Capital Logic, Capital Harness XC

Good Vehicle system knowledge and E&E agregates in the vehicle- Distribution system,Starting & Charging system,Lighting system and swtichtes.  
Basic level knowledge in Vehicle electronics & In Vehicle networking systems - Body control module,  ABS/ESP,Airbag &Infotainment, Communicaiton protocols like CAN & LIN
