Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Sr Lead Engineer in the NVH department at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will spearhead the vehicle NVH development team to ensure exceptional vehicle level NVH delivery throughout the entire development phase.

You will guide efforts in benchmarking vehicles and robust target setting for vehicle programmes, ensuring thorough and effective execution.

Your responsibilities will include meticulous review and tracking of the test plans, as well as executing NVH development work during the physical prototype stage with a collaborative cross-functional team (CFT).

You will coach and mentor your team to smoothly implement NVH suggestions that meet performance criteria while adhering to weight and cost specifications.

Furthermore, you will be accountable for delivering vehicle and system-level NVH performance for various components such as Body-in-White (BIW), sound package NVH requirements, trimmed body NVH, chassis engineering, and more.

Part of your strategic role will involve planning and tracking NVH risk management to successfully meet deliverables.

In addition, you will be tasked with developing and managing resources in alignment with current and future NVH technologies and capabilities.

This includes innovating new processes and technologies from an NVH perspective.

You will also participate in subjective jury trials and ensure alignment with relevant targets for the NVH programme.
