Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As a Sr. Engineer - AVA in the Advanced Vehicle Architecture department within Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, your primary responsibilities will encompass a variety of technical challenges and project deliverables aimed at enhancing vehicle design and performance. You will:
- Lead the BIW (Body in White) and Trims surface modelling processes ensuring optimal design and functionality.
- Prepare master section concepts for both BIW and Trims to facilitate streamlined project initiation.
- Conduct comprehensive surface quality checks as part of the CAS (Computer-Aided Styling) process to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
- Engage in feasibility discussions regarding die and mold production, preparing necessary data to support informed decision-making.
- Analyse part and assembly quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures to enhance product quality and reliability.
Your contributions will significantly impact the development cycle and the end quality of automotive products, making your role pivotal within the team.
Experience
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background and practical experience in automotive engineering. You should have:
- Between 4 to 6 years of relevant industry experience in the field of automotive design and development.
- Demonstrated prowess in surface modelling techniques and an understanding of industry best practices.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team-focused environment, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This experience will equip you with the necessary skills to handle the complexities of vehicle architecture and contribute meaningfully to project milestones.
Industry Preferred
Experience in industries such as automotive manufacturing or engineering consulting is preferred. Familiarity with advanced vehicle architecture concepts and projects involving:
- Surface modelling technologies and methodologies.

- Quality assurance processes involving BIW and Trim components.

Qualifications
