Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Candidate to have
• To be capable of packaging the electrical & electronics components into vehicle (Tractor) environment by understanding the requirement.
• Excellent skills on Wiring harness CAD layout & routing using UG NX /Creo software/Creo
• Must have experience in wiring harness design as per Bosch Guideline
• Design skills of switch component placement, channels for wiring harness, clamps, ECU mounting brackets etc.
• Basic tooling knowledge on plastic and sheet metal brackets.
• Capable to understand the weight details for all components
• Need to participate in Benchmarking activities & provide VAVE ideas.
• Able to discuss with functional teams/supplier and solve design constraint.
• Analysing & providing the solution for packaging related failures and working with respective teams to reduce/eliminate the failures in new projects.
• Should be capable to release the drawing in team centre on time to meet the project targets timeline.
• Creation of 3D section for packaging concepts at vehicle condition.
• Prepare the packaging interface document - sign-off and reviewing the critical inputs before tool kick-off of all new component development
• Responsible for installation drawing preparation by providing all the necessary inputs required for manufacturing.
• Coordination with build team for fitment trail & report to be submitted.
• Understanding & providing requirement for Surface Finish (texturing) & draft angle on A-surface component when needed…
• Basic knowledge on ECU`s, Sensor, Alternator, Starter, Battery, etc.

Experience

5-6 years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

BE/B Tech Mechanical Engineering
BE/ B Tech Automobile engineering

General Requirements

Interfacing with cross functional teams from start to end of project to ensure First Time Right
Good knowledge on systems like design review’s/ DFMEA’s
Specialized, Technical Good knowledge on vehicle electrical system and interfacing parts.
Manufacturing of E&E aggregates
Maintaining quality level tragets as per agreement

Software knowledege on UG NX & CREO
Microsoft word & Powerpoint

Excellent communication skills .
Adaptable to challenging situation with agility to go for new initiative, exploring Various Options, Collaborative environment.
Passionate for New technologies introduction, execution excellence.
Analytical and conceptual skills, planning and organizing skills
