Sr. Engineer - Transaxle

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1.Responsible for project handling from concept to productionization.
2.Responsible for 3D assembly Layout and EBOM Preparation.
3.Responsible for DFA / DFS for the transmission.
4.Responsible for Transaxle Phantoms/ Installation drawing Release and tracking.
5.Responsible for Weight and cost targets.
6.Responsible for Assembly level tolerance stacking.
7.Responsible for co ordination with in COE and other departments.
8.Responsible for preliminary Field Failure analysis.
9. Basic understanding on Transmission architecture and Layouts
10. Knowledge on manufacturing processes, DFA and DFMEA
11. Adherence to project timelines and milestone achievements.

4 - 6 Years

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech (Mechanical or Automobile Engineering)

General Requirements

Understands latent customer needs
Displays commitment towards promised delivery to the customer

Should be able to generate ideas to improve ones's self performance
Exibits openness to accepting ideas from others
Tries out alternative ways of doing things

Good communication skills and managerial skills
Should be able to work with cross functional team/ CoEs

Functional Competencies:

1. Unigraphics NX - 3D Modelling.
2. Unigraphics NX - 3D Assembly.
3. DMU Analysis.
4. Indepth knowledge in GD&T,DFMEA.
5. Transmission concept/detail design .
5. Understanding of Tractor & Transmission.
7. Basic knowledge on transmission softwares like Kiss-soft/ Romax.
8. Basic understanding of DVP/ Duty Cycle Preparation
