Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Define DVPs for vehicle performance, emission & execute various tests based on DVP to meet Performance, Emission & fuel economy targets.
2. Evaluation of DVP results & recommendation for engineering sign off.
3. Monitor & achieve Utilization & efficiency of test facility.
4. Emission homologation testing as per Indian / European emission & FE legislation.
5. Trouble shooting & failure analysis of engine / test facility problems..
6. Ensure NABL/EOHS accreditation of test facility.
7. Ensure Quality of tests & Documentation.
8.Upgrade test facilities as per emerging technologies & legislative requirements.
9. Emission hardware evaluation & robustness evaluation.

Skills critical for the job:
1. In-depth knowledge of vehicle Emission test facility, testing equipment's , engine/vehicle system  to manage factors affecting performance & emission results.
2.  In-depth knowledge of Indian/Global emission/FE legislations.
3. Knowledge of emission reduction technologies & engine management software's.
4. Ability to develop new test procedures / methods, optimizes existing test procedures with respect to cost, quality and time.
5. Ability to replicate and simulate the RWUP test cycles in test lab.
6. Knowledge of alternate powertrain technologies like Electric Vehicles, Hybrid vehicles, Hydrogen vehicles etc and requirements of test facilities for development / homologation of such vehicles.
7. Knowledge of accreditation standards like NABL , EOHS etc.
