Sr.Engineer - System Development

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Electronic power Steering system CAN Architecture development and good knowledge in CAN, CAN-FD & Flexray networking.
2. Design and development knowledge on 3 phase AC motors and its functions.
3. Steering system calculations understanding to review the control logics of Steering software
4. Good knowledge in Sensors, Microcontrollers of Steering system
5. Co-ordinate with Electronics team & other interface team on understanding the communication of ECU's to prepare the logics.
6. Excellent knowledge in CAN communicating tools like, CANoe, CANape, Vehicle spy.
7.  Script development using Vector & Interpedis tools (CAPL scipt, VS3 script)
8. Test case preparation with Virtual ECU's for Software verification.
9. Discussion with Suppliers on Networking, Logic preparation,Specification documents, Diagnosics and timeline during the complete project stages.
9. Material cost reduction
10. Analysis of failure modes in the vehicle and preparing 8D for problem solving.
11. Assist CMVR team on steering validation and certification
12. Creation of Standards on the Script geneartions and operating procedures.
13. New technology proof of concept creation
14. Benchmarking and adopting the features to products.
15. Adequate knowledge in Lifecyle tools like JIRA, IBM DNG portal.

Experience

4 to 7 Years

Industry Preferred

Any other OEM, or any tier 1 supplier with steering system knowledge

BE/B Tech Mechanical engineering
BE/B Tech Automobile engineering
BE/B Tech Mechatronics engineering
