Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement HMI applications for Instrument clusters of automotive domain controllers on QNX platforms.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to bring wireframes and visual concepts to life using tools like Qt, Kanzi, and Unreal Engine.
  • Integrate HMI layers with middleware and Adaptive AUTOSAR stacks.
  • Optimize 3D graphics, animations, and overall performance of the HMI for smooth rendering and responsiveness for embedded systems with real-time constraints
  • Ensure compliance with automotive safety and quality standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
  • Conduct debugging, unit testing, and validation of HMI features across various hardware platforms and scenarios.
  • Create clear and concise documentation for design, architecture, and workflows.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including system architects, platform developers, and QA engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  • Proficiency in C++, Qt/QML, and other tool chains like Kanzi
  • Strong experience with QNX Neutrino RTOS, Linux etc.
  • Familiarity with Adaptive or Classic AUTOSAR architecture and integration.
  • Experience with UI/UX tools such as Qt, Kanzi, and Unreal Engine.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, real-time OS and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and Agile development.

Experience

5 Years -7 Years.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
