Senior Lead Engineer

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Driving scrum teams, scheduling, and manage workflow to meet the deliverables for the Products.
    • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and efficiency.
    • Identifying risks and contribute to proactive problem resolution.
    • Hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
    • Providing regular feedback, mentoring, and coaching to improve performance.
    • Motivating employees to meet and exceed performance targets and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strategic Alignment and Communication:
    • Translating organizational goals into actionable, daily plans for the team.
    • Communicating company strategies, changes, and updates to employees.
  • Other Execution focus:
    • Managing resources, including tools, equipment etc
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety, and industry regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  • 12-15 years of experience including experience in leading HMI development for automotive systems.
  • Proficiency in C++, Qt/QML, and Java/Kotlin.
  • Strong experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and QNX Neutrino RTOS.
  • Familiarity with Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture and integration.
  • Experience with UI/UX tools such as Qt, Kanzi, and Unreal Engine.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, real-time OS and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and Agile development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AOSP customization and Android HAL development.
  • Exposure to graphics rendering techniques, animations, 3D graphics principles and GPU optimization.
  • Familiarity with SoCs from Qualcomm, Renesas, or NXP.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434).

Automotive domain knowledge.
