Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Government Relations & Advocacy

• Build and manage relationships with central/state ministries and regulatory bodies.

• Advocate for EV-friendly policies, fiscal incentives, and infrastructure development.

• Represent the company in consultations, meetings, and industry forums.

• Collaborate with associations and think tanks for policy alignment.

2. Public Policy & Compliance

• Monitor evolving EV regulations and ensure internal compliance.

• Draft policy briefs and reports for leadership.

• Support legal and product teams on regulatory matters.

3. Strategy & Business Support

• Develop EV policy strategies aligned with business goals.

• Identify collaboration opportunities to boost EV adoption and sales.

• Advise leadership on long-term policy direction.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align policy priorities.

• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.

• Represent the company in public forums and media.

5. Market Intelligence

• Track policy trends, competitor actions, and regulatory developments.

• Provide insights and thought leadership on EV and sustainability.

6. Crisis Management

• Address regulatory risks and manage crisis communications.

• Coordinate internal and external responses to policy challenges.

7. Skills & Competencies

• Deep knowledge of India’s EV ecosystem and policy landscape.

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ethical, proactive, and passionate about clean transportation.

Experience

10 to 15 years.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Preferably MBA.
