Key Responsibilities
1. Special Process Qualification
- Lead qualification and re‑qualification of all special processes as per customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Develop and execute PQPs (Process Qualification Plans), control plans, and validation protocols.
- Review and approve the gapa analysis for special process requirements.
- Ensure correct process parameters, tooling, fixturing, and machine settings are established and controlled.
2. NADCAP & Customer Compliance
- Maintain readiness for NADCAP audits (HT, CP, NDT, Welding, Non Conventional Machining etc.).
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to close findings, perform RCCA, and ensure long‑term compliance.
- Support customer audits, assessments, and technical reviews for special processes.
3. Process Validation & Capability
- Perform capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and establish statistically verified process controls.
- Conduct MSA (Measurement System Analysis) for special process‑related inspection methods.
- Lead PFMEAs and ensure process risk mitigation through preventive controls.
4. Documentation & Standards
- Create and maintain special process procedures, WI, SOPs, process maps, and qualification reports.
- Ensure alignment with AS9100, AS13100, internal QMS, and customer specifications.
- Maintain up‑to‑date qualification records, calibration logs, and traceability documentation.
5. Quality Investigations & RCCA
- Lead problem‑solving activities related to special process escapes, NCRs, deviations, or internal rejections.
- Drive structured RCCA using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fault Tree, etc.
- Implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Experience: 9 - 12 years
Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech – Mechanical / Aerospace
