Quality Inspector for aerospace surface treatments and coating.
Quality requirements for anodizing processes (TSAA, SA, HA, CAA),
chemical conversion coating inspections, and passivation/pickling of stainless steel and
titanium alloys.
Conduct painting inspections for all aerospace paint applications.
Perform coating thickness measurements using DFT gauge, gloss testing, colour difference evaluation, and adhesion testing.
Carry out lot inspections and periodical inspections to maintain compliance.
Verify customer documents and drawings for surface treatments requirements.
Be qualified to direct and carry out test in the method/s for which he is certified as NAS 410 Level-II(FPI & MPI).2Be able to set up and calibrate equipment.3Be able to read and interpret indications and evaluate them in accordance with applicable standards, specifications and codes of practice.4Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method.5Have the ability to apply detailed techniques to products within his limits of qualification.6Be capable of organising and reporting test results.7Be familiar with the type and location of expected discontinuities for the manufacturing process used to make the parts.8If required, shall be capable of establishing techniques and codes of practice, these to be approved by a Level III individual.
Awareness and compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP -Chemical processing requirements.
