The daily tasks of a Quality Inspector revolve around precision, documentation, and technical oversight.

Physical Inspections: Conduct detailed visual and tactile inspections of assemblies, sub-assemblies, and installations (e.g,structural rivets, Part to Part Gaps).

Measurement & Testing: Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and borescopes to verify dimensions against blueprints.

Documentation Review: Manufacturing logs to ensure every step of the assembly process was performed by certified personnel and signed off correctly.

Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR): Identify defects or deviations, document them clearly, and initiate the process for disposition

First Article Inspection (FAI): Validate the very first production run of a new part to ensure the manufacturing process is capable of producing consistent results. Prepare FAI documents inline to AS9102 Standard
