Assistant Manager - Fire

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Conduct thorough fire risk assessments within the manufacturing facility, identifying hazards related to flammable materials and machinery.
2. Ensure compliance with local fire codes, OSHA standards, and industry-specific fire regulations.
3. Develop and maintain fire prevention plans and emergency evacuation procedures.
4. Respond promptly to fire alarms and other emergency situations, conducting search and rescue operations if necessary.
5. Coordinate emergency care until professional help arrives.
6. Oversee maintenance and testing of fire extinguishing systems and safety equipment.
7. Lead fire drills and training sessions for employees on fire safety and emergency response procedures.
8. Perform regular workplace inspections to identify and mitigate fire hazards.
9. Provide ongoing professional development and training on the latest firefighting techniques.
10. Maintain composure under pressure during emergencies and proficiently use firefighting equipment.

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

• B.Tech or Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering.

General Experience

3 years Relevant experience in fire safety within an industrial or auto components manufacturing environment.
