Roles and Responsibilty:

Market Development:
Ø Taking care of the sales with focus on achieving predefined sales target and growth.
Ø Identifying suitable markets for the product
Ø Creating sales network as per the demand trend.
Ø Formulate Market strategy for various states with the help of the team and track performance.
Ø Oversee the sales promotion activities of various states and track performance.
Ø Market analysis for identifying market needs.
Ø Designing channel development strategies
Ø Keep a track of the competitor strategy and make changes accordingly if required.

Distributor Management:
Ø Plan the distributor & dealer network required for various states.
Ø Guide the team on selection of the right distributor & dealer.
Ø Review the distributor & dealer performance on an ongoing basis.
Ø Develop good interpersonal relations with the dealer for fostering business partnerships.
Ø Ensure proper after sales services by distributors & dealers by formulating SOP’s and tracking their performance.
Ø Resolve conflicts if any.
Ø Keep a track of the inventory at distributor locations.


Sales:
Ø Formulating Sales budget for the zone basis discussion with the management.
Ø Cascading the sales budget for various territories with the respective Regional Managers.
Ø Review & monitor performance of the states.
Ø Head the monthly & quarterly review meetings across the zone.
Ø Guide & motivate the team for achievement of sales targets.
Ø Plan various sales related schemes for the zone.

Credit Control:
Ø Recommend credit limits for the distributors and dealers basis the timelines & SOP’s laid by the management.
Ø Formulate the collection strategy for the states and share the regional targets accordingly.
Ø Manage & review collection performance of different territories.
Ø Resolve conflicts if any.
Ø Co-ordinate with the Manager-Credit control for current & overdue outstandings.
Ø Formulate strategy for faster collection of overdue accounts.

Team Management
Ø Lead and manage the team of Regional Managers, Area Managers & Territory Exec’s across the zone.
Ø Delegate and monitor periodical performance of the team and share feedback.
Ø Resolve conflicts if any.
Ø Train & develop team members for future growth.
Ø Build & retain strong team.
Ø Lead the team to RISE.

Industry Preferred: Agriculture/ Seeds

Qualification: B.Sc(Ag)/M.Sc(Ag.) + MBA/P.G.Dip in Mgt.
