Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As the Zonal Marketing Manager for Zone 6, you will play a pivotal role in driving the brand’s presence and market penetration within your designated region. Your core responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of local market nuances, including cultural trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscapes. Leveraging this knowledge, you will tailor brand strategies that align with both central marketing initiatives and the unique dynamics of your zone.
Your role involves close collaboration with Zonal and State Heads to conceptualise and execute brand-building and activation plans, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities such as product launches and key local events or festivals. You will be responsible for designing and refining marketing campaigns by assimilating global brand ideas and adapting them to local contexts, ensuring relevance and resonance with the target audience.
Effective budget management will be critical, encompassing careful allocation and monitoring to maximise return on investment. You will develop robust KPIs for all marketing activities, track performance metrics, and generate actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
Operational excellence will involve coordination with central marketing teams to secure timely and appropriate communication materials, coupled with stringent adherence to brand guidelines. On-ground implementation quality will be a priority, overseeing retail presence including dealer showrooms, brand displays, sales and dealer engagement programs, and rural marketing efforts managed through designated agencies.
In addition, the role extends to building and enhancing a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that supports customer database development, relationship nurturing, and referral generation. Strategic partnerships with local stakeholders for activation, public relations, and communications will also be under your stewardship.
To maintain cost efficiency, you will actively manage supplier relationships and promote cost leadership in marketing expenditures. Continuous feedback loops with central marketing teams will enable sharing of insights, best practices, and support the evolution of central marketing strategies.
