About the Role

Mahindra HZPC Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Executive - Logistics to join our Mahindra Agri Solutions team within the MHZPC division. This critical role requires an individual who will play a key part in managing and optimizing the logistics processes related to cold storage inventory and transportation, especially focused on agricultural products like potatoes. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency in operations, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to cost-effective supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain optimal temperature controls for cold storage facilities to ensure product quality and safety.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of inward and outward logistics activities, ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
• Lead audits and conduct quality checks during arrival and dispatch of inventory, guaranteeing adherence to standards.
• Collaborate closely with the transport team to allocate vehicles timely and effectively, ensuring safe and punctual delivery of goods.
• Implement strategies focused on cost control, vendor management, and supply chain optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze management information system (MIS) reports related to logistics, inventory conditions, and store performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
• Manage cold storage inventory accurately and monitor conditions, reporting any deviations promptly to the logistics manager.
• Coordinate manpower and cold storage labor, ensuring efficient resource allocation and satisfactory labor management.
• Engage with local authorities for legal compliance and ensure all transportation regulations are adhered to meticulously.

Qualifications

• Post Graduation (M.Sc.(Ag) or MBA) or Graduation (B.Sc.(Ag), BA, B.Com, or BBA).

Experience and Skills

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros. Exposure to SAP systems is highly desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements to ensure legal adherence across logistics operations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to work in rural environments to support on-site logistics and storage activities.
